Trump’s mother was a naturalized U.S. citizen when Donald was born.

Her father’s father was a US citizen, a Catholic missionary IIRC. Today’s courts would likely not entertain objections to her being VP. She won’t be, so it will remain murky.

Wong Kim Ark doesn’t say that. 14A §1 citizens are citizens at birth via state statute, not Art. II, §1, Cl. 5 natural born citizens.

Wouldn’t mind seeing here as SecDef. Better than that useless bloatlord last seen in the hospital and cowering behind a covid face shield.

I think Col West would be a more serious choice for SecDef.

No way. The founders would not have approved him in the first place.

You're 0 for 2.

A Bold Pro-Life Move for a Democrat

2nd Amendment: Our right 'shall not be infringed'

Tulsi has very moderate positions, which are what the GOP needs to adopt if they want to win.

If Trump wins, but they lose the House or more of the Senate, he won't be able to accomplish anything. It will be non-stop impeachments and investigations. Trump not only needs to win, he needs to win with a massive Red Wave, that creates a Congress that will allow him to accomplish things. The ONLY way this happens is if GOP candidates across the Country adopt more moderate positions - particularly on abortion.

Tulsi can sell these positions to the public.

All of our presidents have been of White European heritage except for Obama who usurped Article 2 Section 1. We need to get back to the basics and traditions the founders would have approved of.

Oops! My bad, I thought you were referring West to bring Trump’s VP. Yes, I could see him being Sec of Defense.

I do not consider these infringements moderate. No such thing

….

Ban assault weapons; require universal background checks

In Congress, Gabbard has co-sponsored bills that would ban assault weapons and require background checks for all gun purchases, including closing what is known as the “gun-show loophole.”

Advocate for sensible gun control

Tulsi has a consistent record of advocating for sensible gun control. She has long called for reinstating a federal ban on military-style assault weapons and high capacity clips, requiring comprehensive pre-purchase background checks, closing the gun-show loophole, and making sure that terrorists are not allowed to buy guns. Tulsi is focused on building bipartisan solutions that can actually be passed into law, rather than using the issue as a partisan political football.
Tulsi Gabbard on gun control measures:
H.R. 1565 & H.R. 1217: To ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System
H.R. 2380: Gun Show Loophole Closing Act: To require criminal background checks at gun shows.
H.R. 226: Keeping Guns from High Risk Individuals Act
H.R. 1745: Support Assault Firearms Elimination and Reduction: a tax credit for surrendering to authorities certain assault weapons

“The writers of the Constitution had no idea what they were doing. Their vague writings were later amended.”

Can you cite for all of us just one thing that is vague in the Constitution? Just one.

The writers used commonly accepted legal terms when they wrote. They defined none of those terms. Natural born citizen was a legal term current in their day, and ours, but it is just that, with a lot of things now, people pretend to not know.

Republicans ARE moderate on abortion. Problem is that isn’t what the media tells the people. And half the population are idiots.
