Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has fired two ballistic missiles from launchers disguised as standard shipping containers that were hosted aboard one of its sea base-like vessels. This particular combination, which has not been seen to date, greatly expands the reach with which those weapons could be used to strike potential targets by surprise, especially given that shipping containers can be embarked on any vessel that has the space to accommodate them.
The country's IRGC-linked Tasnim News Agency reports that two "Fateh class" ballistic missiles were recently launched from Shahid Mahdavi, which the Iranian Navy took delivery of in March 2023 after it was converted from a state-owned and operated container ship known as the Sarvin. The outlet also notes that the launch was a collaboration between the IRGC's naval and aerospace forces. At least one of the missiles went on to successfully hit their target in the central desert of Iran, it has been reported. The exact date on which this all occurred, which precise Fateh variant the missiles were, and the distance said missiles traversed to get to their targets, remains unclear at present.

Unfortunately, they may have already done so, just waiting for a signal. Biden has crated a massive crisis at the southern border, that now has infiltrated across the US.
I wonder if the Biden family plans a future trip to their island in the Caribbean, as the signal goes up?

I always imagined that there was a secret US nuclear missile program that used inconspicuous semi trucks that was in continuous motion as part of the US defense system. Especially those trucks with the Start/Bar like the AirForce symbol. I just knew that there was plenty of room in a semi trailer for an ICBM and that thought of my childhood gives me warm fuzzies to this day. Now Iran kills my dreams.
I wonder when they will think of putting a dirty nuke in a shipping container and put on the slow boat to New York City.
The irony is the cultural denial which exists about the proxy war engaged by Israel against Iran.
There will come a day when we awake to news that Tel Aviv is a smoking hole which prompted Israeli decimation of Iranian targets.
The glaring million-dollar question is how the crisis creators will capitalize on that inevitability and whether or not the skies above the Arctic Circle become rich with missile tracks...(and/or whether or not Iran chose to destroy a few American cities with nuke container missiles as ‘collateral damage’).
Sounds like they just turned all of their state owned commercial container ships into targets since there is no way to tell if they are carrying missiles.
Gotta' wonder how many tactical nuclear warheads are missing world-wide.
That missile looks a lot larger than US Army's "Little John" that could toss a ten Kt warhead 30 miles.
Doesn't seem like a huge stretch to integrate a small modern warhead onto that Iranian missile and park a small container ship 50 miles off the coast of NYC.
As for accuracy - from the Gulf of Mexico, or San Diego, what does it matter?
My fear is that Iran may be about to show us they have nuke weapons very soon. Too much hostile activity the last few months.

I didn’t think IRAN made anything to be using Shipping Containers (sarcasm alert). Might be able to locate these shipping containers, Any Shipping container on a Iranian Ship is suspect, especially if it is all by it self.
I’ve thought for years that if an enemy wanted to nuke us, a shipping container would be the ideal delivery system. I don’t know how closely they are checked, or how they could be insulated against detection, but a huge weapon could be put in one. There are many thousands of them on ships around the world at any given time.
