I live in a tiny New England state and I've been able to partner with a small in-state family cattle ranch (70-80 head).
It costs more, but you would be supporting small business owners and ensuring your family has a supply of quality meat.
The FDA is trying to shut all the independent meat producers down, starting with the self-sufficient Amish.
When the sheet hit's the fan....I will do it again.
I knew the Chinese had bought Smithfield, didn’t know about Brazil.
Part of China wanting to buy Smithfield was their own pork producing industry is so toxic with unheard of levels of hormones and anti-bacterials, they wanted a much safer foreign source. (The meds are regulated, and entirely ignored) They’ve also bought European sources. In China, the Smithfield/Euro pork is way beyond the price point of the average person. They get the chemo-pork.
If sanity does not return to the White House in November, we're all screwed anyway. With or without beef production.

Sounds like we need a rancher owned meat packing facility that all ranchers sell their cattle to for slaughter... and all the beef in America would come from the rancher owned meat packing facility thereby depraving the Chinese owned meat plants of a source of beef.
America would then have American owned and operated meat production with the ranchers being the main shareholders

Sorry, but there are things that can’t be fixed.
But we have the Constitution and that’s the best blueprint to re-build.
And there aren’t as many people who even appreciate or know what it means to be an American.
I assume he’s referencing brazil or the chinks holding our cattle ranches hostage. The cattle is here. We are here. We’ll just go in and take it.
