Since approximately 3:10 PM, internal systems have remained offline, plunging stores into uncertainty about when service will resume or the root cause of the blackout. People in the western world will experience a humanitarian crisis featuring starvation. Time to arrange aid deliveries to the affected areas.

Back in the day we would just start a “cash box” and actually count change. Yell the orders back and be competent enough to get them to the right customers. It wasn’t rocket science.

Unless things have changed since I was in Japan 35 years ago. You could get Beer and Whiskey amongst other things from street vending machines.
