If this is true, it is rather disappointing.

If true, I'd say it's a lot worse than rather disappointing. Trump will be 79 on Inauguration Day. His VP stands a very good chance of becoming president before Trump's term is up, due to age and his legal challenges, and let's not forget that Trump can only serve one more term - his VP will most likely be the Republican presidential candidate in 2028.

Well, having thought about this for a bit, although it’s disappointing in President Trump personally, I am now wondering if it’s a moot point as far as his opinion, or his VP pick.

With SCOTUS transferring the abortion issue back to each individual state, the viewpoint of the president is pretty much irrelevant as far as the law is concerned. It’s comforting to know that the executive is pro-life, but if the onus is now on the states, it’s neither here nor there. Unless I’m missing something, which is more than possible.
