Somebody didn’t proofread their release:

Hardwired cameras don’t need batteries if you use IP cameras with POE or supply 12vdc with the video cable run.

If cameras are sold with batteries and connected by physical cable to the DVR, don’t buy them.

Also don’t forget to lock the external power panel.
All my cameras are hardline but pulling the breaker defeats everything.
