RINO Representative Mike Gallagher (WI) announced on Friday he will exit the House as early as next month.
Gallagher, who is currently serving as the chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, last month announced that he will not seek reelection.
Instead of serving out the rest of his term, Gallagher will retire early leaving the GOP with a one-vote majority!
But it’s worse than that.
Gallagher announced he will leave in mid-April. If Gallagher would have left before April 9th he would have triggered a special election in his district. Because he is leaving after April 9th but still in April, there will be no special election so the seat will remain empty.
This ensures that Republicans will lose another seat of their majority in Congress.
Emerald Robinson believes this is an organized tactic to put Republicans into the minority before the November elections. That way Democrats can nullify a Trump victory by using the 14th Amendment to keep him from office.

Gallagher has always been a Dem; he just ran as a Repubican to get money to campaign on.
For the 10th time or so, the counting of Electoral Votes takes place AFTER the new Congress is seated.
There may be a Dem majority at that time, but a majority prior to that time is irrelevant to the Electoral Votes.
Further, the entire Democrat caucus would not sign onto this. It would take only a few such seats to stop it, unless the GOP is smashed in November with a 50 seat deficit, which is pretty unlikely given how many seats are safe.
It sure sounds like they’re trying to mess things up, and big time! What POS people we have in House leadership.
What other reason could he possibly have for this delay?
It will be interesting to see what pathetic excuse he has for resigning AFTER the special election date.

Why exactly did he pick this date, why prevent a special election? What is the payoff beyond damaging Republicans?

the Plan B is to pay off as many Republicans as possible in order for the Dems to take power, they pass a bill banning Trump from being on the ballot..that is their plan
The payoff is money. Lots of money! The payoff is to block Trump’s electoral college certification and keeping the Usurper installed.
If the Republicans were truly an opposition party, the Speaker of the House (Mike Johnson R-LA) would call for an immediate expulsion of Mike Gallagher (R-WI) and send a message to anyone else who attempts to assist the Democrats.
Nancy Pelosi never allowed malcontents to interfere in the Democrat’s leftist agenda.
If Gallagher were an honorable person, he would not need to be asked to leave.
If the dems take the house, they can do massive damage to America before the election. Imagine what they could pass. Hell, all 10-15 million illegals could be allowed to vote legally.
They could probably do permanent damage.
Regardless, his seat should still be filled before the general election. To let the rats gain more of a foothold in Congress now could still spell disaster for a Trump victory. Who knows what kind of bills/laws they could pass before Trump could take office.
They would try to label Trump with being an insurrectionist and throw him in jail.
