I’ve only been to a theater a couple of times in the last decade or so. I just watched everything when it comes out on DVD or a streamed and now it’s just streaming. But a weird thing has happened to me. When I’m watching action movies in a fight scene starts I fast forward to the end of the fight scene. All I care about is who wins the fight I don’t need to watch all that crap in the middle.

I guess as I’m getting older I’m more interested in the story.

I watched the new Top Gun movie when it was on Netflix (I only pay the minimum monthly fee for it). Last time I went to see a first run in the theatre was They Shall Not Grow Old. I will be going to Los Angeles in early May and even then, I won’t be going to any show tapings (maybe twenty or thirty years ago, I’d have done at least one). It will be just to see museums and the Queen Mary and not to put money directly into the pockets of the entertainment industry.
