Also one normally doesnt have top ]ost the entire bond amount, even bail is usually set at 10%
The other side is being totally exposed though for the extraordinary crap they are pulling

Having to post any sort of bond before you can appeal is dangerously close to having to buy justice................. A judgment defendant in every civil case must pay a bond or other security as a condition of appeal. This situation is different than usual because of the outlandish size of the judgment and the flimsy legal grounds on which it rests.
