We bought our house in North Texas in late 1996, after hail season. We are on our 5th roof. They were all taken out by hailstorms with golf-ball sized or larger hail.
Anyone building a solar farm in Texas that will not withstand at least golf-ball sized hail should be investigated for criminal negligence if government or shareholder funds were used.
We need a huuuuuge Dome cover that sun gets thru but no hail. /s
