You Will Be Very Shocked When You Can’t Use Your Gas Car
Independent Sentinel ^ | March 27, 2024 | M Dowling

The Daily Mail reports that eight states are planning to BAN the sale of gas-powered cars entirely – after Biden unveiled ambitious plans to phase them out by 2032.

California was the first state to adopt the plan to ban sales of gas cars by 2035. Electric vehicles made up 7.6 percent of new car sales in the US last year.

It seems clear that the government will ban gas stations at some point, and they don’t seem to care that you can’t afford an EV.

The rule, first adopted by California, means that automakers and dealerships would be banned from selling new gas cars in these states from that point onwards.

This follows the UN Agenda 2030 exactly. The UN is a dictator’s club and not our friend. If you think Asia or any non-Western country will follow us down this road, think again.

Rhode Island was the most recent state to join the list of states pledging to ban the sale of gas-powered cars, joining Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington.

According to Money, the District of Columbia has also made the commitment.

Other states have adopted versions of the legislation but have not yet pledged to ban gas-powered cars entirely by that date.

For example, Delaware and Colorado last year finalized rules that would require 82 percent of new cars to be zero-emissions vehicles in 2032, but officials have not adopted 2035 bans.

Traditional gas-powered cars on the road wouldn’t be affected, and drivers would still be allowed to buy used gas-powered cars. Automakers and dealerships, however, would be prohibited from selling new gas vehicles in states where bans are in place.

Democrats are destroying us and our national security.

Please learn about Agenda 2030. It’s ruining my little village in New York with apartment buildings. The UN wants my village to become an urban hub.

My daughter bought a Tesla because she travels every day for work and figures she’d save A lot on gas plus I’m pretty sure for the status symbol as well. Super cold day this last winter it wouldn’t charge. Husband was researching Chevy bolt found out a new battery would cost just as much as what a merely 1-year-old car is going for.

Meanwhile, Buccees is building 110+ pump gas stations all over the south. Maybe the sane states will remain open for business, after the woke ones are boarded up.

Right? Last damn straw. Has there ever been a state civil war? I think a huge revolt is festering in CA. Or everyone will just go John Galt maybe.

It’s illegal for mere motorists to pump their own gas in NJ. Only a “professional,” can do it. There are no self service pumps in the state.

Democrat voters can’t change...they are hard wired. If they could, it would have happened a long time ago.

Things stay the same...until they don’t.

Nothing in this universe last forever, and that includes a solid Democrat voting block. What brings about this change, time. As the solid Democrat voting block gets older they are replaced by younger voters who do not have the same history, experience and beliefs as the older ones have. All they see is that the Democrats are in charge and things keep getting worse.

Biden was in Raleigh the other day with AF1 and AF2, other support aircraft and a twenty vehicle motorcade. Deep state does not give a hoot about using petrol.

It’s all about control. Wake up.

That’s the problem...younger American voters have been thoroughly brain washed.

If you think the NJ fuel pumping laws are ridiculous, you ought to see what it takes to become a flagman on a Massachusetts road project. There’s an elaborate, state mandated certification program, but the law’s written so the jobs (minimum $45 x hour) generally go to off duty police officers.

I was getting gas at my local Sam’s and it was $1.47 a gallon.

More than likely your dream was a premonition of the FUTURE following Trump's re-election.

CA has pretty low voter turnout. If the masses get pissed they might actually go to the polls and change things.

“they want to force everyone onto public transportation. Enjoy having to take the NY subway wherever you go, even if you dont’ live in NY - they are planning to bring the NY subway to you.”

You know how the saying “sooner or later big government will make criminals of us all” went? Well... now it’s “sooner or later big government will make victims of us all.... by any means necessary”.

This is why Conservatism has been so crucial to our survival over the years/decades. It’s also why these same leftist cretins have tried, and perhaps succeeded, in killing Conservatism in the US.

[[just like gas cars in the real world don’t get their stated mpg.]]

Yep good point-

[[What I see happening is the left trying to control us with more of a slow-boil-kills-the-frog approach]]

Exactly- doing it en mass would start an uprising- doing it bit by bit accomplishes the goal without stirring up unrest too much- with folks thinking “It’s gotta turn around at some point”

[[By making our home and transportation mostly energy self-reliant, my wife and I are hopefully in a good position to be comfortable in retirement]]

Yep- you have a pretty good system there- I’ve seen many of your posts talking abotu energy independence and such-

Thanks. A word of warning, though. What I do can't be easily replicated willy nilly if you want to have the same no loss of lifestyle like I do. You have to do your homework to make sure it's right for you, then again to tweak it to make it optimal for your situation.

It's analogous to the policy wonks that work for the Dims. Those bureaucrats do their homework to know exactly which regulations to change and exactly how to change them so that the globalists benefit and the middle class loses...at least on the averages. That's the level of detail you have to do with your energy consumption habits, what you can do to improve on them without changing your lifestyle (mostly common sense insulation but some off the beaten path improvements to your home), and the natural resources you have available that you can tap into based on your weather patterns and such.
