If these bills come to be law, it will be an utter failure, no doubt. When there are no more gas stations. all bikers, all owners of: power boats, classic cars, farm equipment, etc. will not be happy campers. I and many others, keep our vehicles in great shape and they last us a good 15 years and a few of them longer. Not until many more power plants are built and online with charging stations along side of gas stations, and charging time reduced drastically and the cost reduced to a reasonable amount will this be feasible. In addition, China has us dependent on them for lithium, and can cut us off whenever the Grand Poobah has a temper tantrum. Don’t the politicians of these blue states see the decrease in their population while the red states are gaining? Idiots.

What will be the per mile charge to replace the gas tax? The goal of this is to get people off the road completely...except the elites.
My gas vehicle identifies as an electric vehicle... who are they to tell it that it can’t identify however it wants? What are they? Petrolphobic?
I notice that EV is already being crucified outside the MSM, which the former is growing while the latter is shrinking in influence.

How much would,one have to drive a $60,000 ev to make up for gas $$ savings? Can get a gas vehicle of similar build quality for around $20,000.
Also, from what I understand, tires last only about 8,000 miles or so on evs (not sure why really). Seems like that would add more $$ to an evs overall yearly cost compared to gas cars which get around 30,000 or more miles on set of tires
