I’ve got an 80+ year old FB frenemy that’s down for every soft-in-the-head liberal notion that pops ip. He’s got young grandchildren, and seems oblivious to the consequences that they’ll face for his lack of foresight.
I wonder how much oppression and poverty our citizens can take before another revolt will settle things...if evermore...at least in the next 200 years.
Are we the last free republic in history? There seems to be no hope to get back to Jefferson’s aspirations for peace and prosperity, and opportunity to advance
the advantages of the ‘golden rule’:
“Thus, use your’s, and another’s, do not burden.”
Rational thought is, apparently, lost upon this more recent population in our nation. I blame the government schools, which guided all toward serfdom, and radical actions that seemed prudent, without understanding consequences, as illuminated in ancient tomes.
A pox on such ignorance.
