I don’t believe this. There was a 69 year old cancer grandma who got 90 days in prison for WALKING into the capitol and then the 71 yr old grandma who was PRAYING that gets up to 1 yr in prison and $200,000 fine. I would LOVE to see them pardoned.

And then there are stories like this. America has lost its moral compas. Maybe we should find these guys and cut off the offensive part. Won’t do THAT again.

The first was going into the Capitol. That was a poor decision.

The second was opting for a trial involving *4* misdemeanors (two of them the more serious A class misdemeanors) instead of opting to negotiate to plead guilty to one B class misdemeanor, which for most 01/06 defendants has resulted in NO incarceration. But she went to trial in a Judicial District that has //95+% conviction rate for 01/06 defendants. That was a questionable decision.
