They don’t say if Chauvin and Floyd had a conflict though, but the employee/owners remarks makes me wonder.

Quite a bit of evidence that El Nuevo Rodeo was involved in drug, human, and forged money trafficking, as the El Nuevo Rodeo in Minneapolis was an off-shoot of several other same-named bars in LA, LV, etc, that had issues with the same thing.
Also, Floyd was a known drug pusher and user. He was caught with forged money. He had quit the club a few months previous when he had caught COVID. Someone might have been afraid he could become an informant. Also, the Arab owner of the building the club was in has his own shady past.
And, of course, none of this was investigated.
