Of course, Denver will be demanding a Federal bailout and when the Republican majority does not. Pugh up the extra funds, it will be the mean old republicans fault.

Maybe there will not be as many meter maids early morning in Downtown Denver. They put in bus lanes and bicycle lanes and placed yellow bags and red bags to block off the parking meters. Half of the previous parking meters are no longer usable. Therefore maybe there are far fewer meter maids. And of course there are far fewer people going to downtown Denver. 16th street mall is torn up for re-construction. The homeless people were moved out. More safe than previous years. Denver city was probably overly staffed with too many employees anyhow. Next is city employee union membership. All hail the Denver/Union/City Government complex.

Is this a public plea for border States to ship a few hundred thousand more illegal aliens to sanctuary cities like Denver?

“$90 million for Beggars”

I have a feeling that when you get enough of these “newcomers”, as the mayor calls them, and they are living poorly, they become violent. The motive for givng them money, thus, is out of fear.

This mayor only asks for Federal money. He doesn’t ask that the flow of immigrants be reduced.

Chinese illegals in gangs are stealing so much a Federal Task Force is formed to catch them and Biden keeps them flowing in.

Gee, those politicos better be careful or they may have to forfeit some of their salaries, like tax payers do, in order to pay for those illegal aliens (not migrants) ... Bwhahahahahaha

Like to know where the “allocation of funds” might be coming from. Just going through that city many times in the past made me glad to get out of there go back home.

The Affordable Connectivity Program stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. The last fully funded month of the program is April 2024.

This is(was)a Federal grant/other that allowed a discount off internet services for low-income. While it was used broadly, many in rural communities, those that have little to no (ISP)competition, thus paying through the nose...were able to have high-speed internet service at a reasonable price(with the $30 monthly subsidy).

Of course dems are blaming the Reps for it's demise...for cutting it out in the new budget(that had plenty for illegals, foreign conflicts, special interests...)
