Prayer request for my injured Mom.
My 84 yr old Mom fell last night while away traveling with my youngest sister and injured (broke) her hip.
After driving hours back home in the middle of the night they got to the ER around 1:30AM. The xrays show the hip is badly broken. She has been admitted to the hospital, is on pain meds and awaiting surgery. Surgery will be either today or tomorrow - not sure when yet - waiting on the surgeon.
Please pray for a full recovery and for surgery to go great - NO problems. Would really appreciate it so much!!! Thank you all in advance. It's been a long night!

Praying for your Mother’s full recovery. Once things heal up rehab will be the real challenge. I cracked my hip a few years back and the rehab was hard work over an extended period of time. May God give her the strength to work hard for that full recovery.

I don’t know but would guess that your sister is suffering from guilt for taking her on the trip.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ our Divine Healer, send your Holy Spirit down upon Faith65’s mother, her loved ones and family members, her doctors, nurses, technicians and all her caregivers and guide their hearts, minds and hands to provide her the best care possible to restore her health so she may live many more years on earth proclaiming glory to You oh Lord and in heaven for all eternity. Please make sure they work to prevent bed sores and have them be careful with any colon-related concerns.
This is from personal experience with a family member around the same age, who had a broken hip.
