The concern is also the anesthesia. She as well as my sisters and I and some of my Moms sisters all have problems waking up from it. The last time my Mom had surgery many, many years ago it was very frightening. They had 3 anesthesiologists working on her (have no idea if this is normal) with the surgeons and they had a serious problem getting her to wake up.
I’m away working today. My family lives down south and I in the north (ugh) so this is hard to deal with anyway.

I hope she has the recovery that my SIL had last fall.
This is her second broken hip and she has also cracked her pelvis in a different incident.
She only uses a hiking stick and the only pain she admits is in her knees. She is 86.
