The administrative staff subsequently determined the term used by McGhee’s son as ‘offensive and disrespectful’ towards Hispanic classmates, leading to his suspension. In his defense, the student stated, “I didn’t make a statement directed towards anyone; I asked a question. I wasn’t speaking of Hispanics because everyone from other countries needs green cards, and the term ‘illegal alien’ is an actual term that I hear on the news and can find in the dictionary.”

This would be like reciting the dictionary definition of the word "ape," and being told by the teacher that this is insulting and offensive to the Afro-American students in the class.

Leah McGhee’s and her husband’s 16 year old track star son who attends Central Davidson High School in Lexington, North Carolina hails from England is named in other major news organizations. Not too hard to id but whatever.

Just as easy to see on the world wide web, even though the school’s website is closed down with “403 Forbidden”, the female principal chickened out and passed this onto not so smart assistant principal, Eric Anderson. Hmm, only the guilty would close down the school site, imo.
