All right, if you can thread a baseball game, I'm starting a thread about the best team in the NFL

Just wanted to start something... I mean, it's football season, and no one has made mention of the positive turnaround for the Cowboys? C'mon.

Randal Williams, right, (89) celebrates his first-quarter touchdown with quarterback Quincy Carter (17) after Philadelphia attempted an onside kick to open the game. Williams caught the ball and ran it 37 yards for a touchdown in the first three seconds of the game. (AP)

Yes, a wonderfully positive turnaround, but the best team in the NFL? C'mon. Take off the beer goggles.

Moved my thread to chat?!! Oh well! Anyway, I suppose (or infer from listening to Cris Collinsworth last week) that all the defense had to do was call him such, and he couldn't handle it the rest of the game.

Has anyone ever scored a touchdown in the first 3 seconds of the game before today? Somehow, I doubt it.

Okay... that title probably goes to Carolina or Kansas City. But it won't be long...

The Panthers are playing the best football. They beat the Bucs and the Colts.

My beer goggles are doin' just fine thank you. After 3 hellish 5-11 years it's party time!! The Big Tuna is the man, he has shown these guys how to win. He can't take all the credit though, and here is why: After the Atlanta game I started wearing my Cowboys hat only on game day and presto; FOUR IN A ROW!!!!!!!! ALL ALONE AT THE TOP OF THE NFC EAST. GET ME ANOTHER BEER ITS PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not since 1970 when the NFL started using a scoreboard clock.

The Cowboys have improved, but I'd wait until they get through the middle of their schedule before I would get too excited. At Tampa, vs Washington, vs Buffalo, at New England, vs Carolina, vs Miami(Current combined record of 22-11). That's a tough stretch.

I'm happy they are back. I like Parcells and he has done wonders with Quincy Carter.

I can see them split that stretch you cite. 9-7, 8-8. Darn better than the horrors visited upon the last few years.
