BOYCOTT FRENCH PRODUCTS

Posted on 01/22/2004 11:07:44 AM PST by wonga

France is banning Muslim girls from wearing headscarves in schools. While severely wounding democracy, millions of Muslims in France are being discriminated against.

In Islam, Muslim women wear the headscarf as a requirement of modesty. Islam teaches that it is not by baring her charms that a lady is liberated. A lady is judged by her mind and soul, irrespective of her physical appearance.

Some may argue that Islam represses women by means of the headscarf. Won't Chirac oppress Muslim girls by forcing them NOT to cover their hair, and practice what they sincerely believe?

True democracy is based on social equality and respecting diverse beliefs. It appears that France needs to update French dictionaries, redefining their term démocratie.

Ironically, hundreds of millions of French money is created through selling their products to Muslim women, whom themselves wear headscarves.

Now, shouldn't we think twice before we buy a Christian Dior Eau de Toilet or a Garnier shampoo?

What you can do:

1. Pass on your voice to France by BOYCOTTING their products.

2. Send this page's link by email to your friends.

Let our strength push us forward to establish a justly democratic world.

Below are some French products you may wish to boycott:

There's oil and terrorism and ... and ... and sand. Lots of sand. But mostly just oil and terrorism.

True democracy is based on social equality and respecting diverse beliefs.

Huh? True democracy is based on majority rule on all things with no rights for the minorities. In a true democracy, 51% could vote to kill the other 49% and it would be perfectly legal. Nothing about social equality or respecting diverse beliefs.
