No it is me they are ignoring! I was going to use "kiss of death as my tagline." Could kill any thread...this is why lurking is essential, know what you are getting into. FR is worth any abuse you might endure.

May I ask for some slack to be cut here for a particular reason? I work with older folks (the person who started this thread admits to being a grandmother, that's at least 34 years old in my neck of the woods!), and many of them make the honest mistake of applying face-to-face ettiquite standards to online
Do what I do. When things get tough and life seems difficult to endure, bury another body under the house.....works for me!!!

I can, sadly, understand your perspective.
There's far too much truth to what you've said.
I do, hope, however, that you grow a thicker skin as some of us have had to do--and hang around and contribute your valuable perspective.
Besides, it's an unbeatable place to learn a wide diversity of things.
And, I think it's unbeatable for news.
Who knows, we may yet have some more impact for good in this country. I think so.
At least many of us are called to prayer as well as alertness because of FR.

I'm sure I've made some comments that are stupid. But, I own them. They are my stupid comments. Other freepers have called me stupid and I deserved it. But at least I learn - and my opinions have changed because I have been corrected, logically, with philosophical points that I wouldn't have thought about but for those people here who I enjoy.
Kattaracks, Diogenesis, Pokey78, UhDuh, and others. I believe that I've even been corrected a couple of times by Mr. Robinson. This is his site afterall.
If you don't like this site - may i suggest that you start your own discussion board limited to discussions about nothing, for nothing, and with nothing. You can find phpbb software for free on the net, and purchase a domain for $95 for this purpose.
