The same day that Salameth was arrested, Yasin was pickied up by New Jersey FBI in a sweep of sites asssociated with him. (Salameh had used Yasin's phone number on the Ryder rental application.) Yasin was quite helpful and cooperative, and the New Jersey FBI allowed him to leave their office that night. The next day Yasinleft the country for Jordan, where he stopped at the Iraqi embassy in Amman before traveling to Baghdad, where he remained.
