Michelson played horribly throughout the weekend, blowing a 2-up lead to Garcia today to lose by 2. He never should've changed his club brand right before a tournament of this importance.

Tiger, as usual, played better in the singles than in the team competition. (He's by far the best match-play player in the world). But his overall Ryder Cup overall record is still embarrassing.

I've always had a soft spot for Langer after his touching tribute to Payne Stewart on the occasion of Payne's untimely passing. Langer, like Sutton, keeps things in perspective and knows what's important in life.

That said, it wasn't much of a contest this time around. After the first day, it was pretty much over. That was what was most disappointing. We were never in it. The Euros just beat the pants off of us. Other than that, what can I say? We lost, we stunk up the place this time around.

Any chance the rules can be changed to have the US do an honorary annexation of Fiji and the ROK? I'd like to see Vijay Singh amd K. J. Choi mixing it up with the other players out there.
