Is is true that Dems are doing better in early Florida VOting?
October 25, 2004 | Michael Katz

I heard this from a few media sources. Is it true? And does it matter? I heard that while dems go to the polls early, we have a lot of absentee ballots being sent in early? Can anyone help me with this?

Lets hope so. Nothing better than letting the democrats show their hand early. It will drive republicans to the polls.

Why, yes, it is true. Because of stringent anti-fraud measures, and Kerry's hand-picked army of lawyers, the current count is that of 392,023,210,773,902,087,430,032 registered voters, an estimated 287,899,420,345,119,492,773,909 have already cast their absolutely untamperable ballots. Exit polls indicate a heavy favoritism for John Kerry, although the number of people coming out of the early-vote polls do not seem to coincide with the electronic tallies.

When questioned about the unusually large number of early votes cast, the head of the Division of Elections claimed the results were "...encouraging, a positive indicator of the acceptance of electronic voting among the informed."

Dan Rather and See BS has just called the state of Florida for Senator John F. Kerry based on early exit polling of early voters. Stay home folks.

Where did you find that factlet? It seems foolish for Gallup to do that in any event.

Actually, I think more than you realize are sick and tired of all the polls and the inherent handwringing.

Bill Schnieder, CNN. Gallups last two polls in Florida have Bush up beyond the MOE, well beyond the MOS. Ergo, no battleground according to Gallup.

Right, Florida is no longer a battleground state. LOL. I guess that means more golf and beach time for all the activists who wasted their time down there.
