The Official Lord of the Rings website (http://www.lordoftherings.net) has updated with an amazing snippet of clips from The Return of the King Extended Edition. Included in the clips are a few 'surprises!' !!!SPOILERS!!!

I was surprised they did the Faramir-Eowyn scene. It seems like the past over the whole Houses of Healing part of the book. I also liked the glimses of the corsairs and Aragorn challenging Sauron.

I've been looking for the extended version on DVD. I have the 4 DVD sets for the first two movies, but not for this one. Are they going to package it like they did for the first two?

I knew we would get ~some~ Eowyn Faramir stuff... they actually did film their wedding. Don't know if we'll see it. Harry (AICN) was on the set and reported about it.

I've been looking for the extended version on DVD.It will be released on Dec. 14, and is curently available for preorder from Amazon. Like the previous two, it is also available in Collector's DVD Gift Set, which includes a Minas Tirith sculpture.

It's new to us! I hadn't been looking for news very often, been a disappointing number of spoilers coming out.
My butt couldn't bear one of the EE's in the theater, let alone the whole trilogy.

Yeah, I saw that it was posted the middle of last month, but there are probably many who don't know about this.
I'm with you though, I want another Trilogy Tuesday! I got to go to the first one in DC last year. That was a lot of fun!

It was a total blast. Our local theater managed it really, really well, and the day went surprisingly quickly.
Special fun, seeing it in a packed theater-full of fellow-die-hards.

Can't wait! A major Tolkein fan here. Am disappointed with how little they gave Faramir in the movie, but am excited to own this latest must-have collection of DVD's!
