ORLANDO (AP) Hooters of America and a rival restaurant chain are arguing in federal court in Orlando over who has rights to the concept of using scantily clad women to sell food and beer. Hooters of America accuses Ker's WingHouse of Kissimmee of poaching the idea coined when it opened its first sports bar in Clearwater in 1983.
A Hooters lawyer says their waitresses are their Ronald McDonald. But Crawford Ker says he based his chain on Knockers, a failing restaurant with an all-female staff in Largo that he took over after retiring from the NFL. A Ker lawyer says Hooters is trying to get the court to create a monopoly.
We need some pics, lol.
Right. The best Hooters vs the best Knockers.
Your ears must be burning.
I think it's a BS lawsuit. What's Hooters trying to claim, that they are the first people to figure out that sexy waitresses bring in customers?

Now: Hooters v. Knockers...
Bet you can't do that with the other restaurant!
Can you handle this?
Have been for years, thats why I married an Oklahoma lady.
"Lucky" would be more like it...
Sorry people, bad link on that #15 post, seems you can listen, but not redirect. Strange, since they're all out there to begin with. Sorry!
Why oh why don't I get cases like this??
CL to Judge: "I'll need about 3 months for discovery"
So, *that* explains the persistent ringing in my ear?!
Visited a Winghouse in Daytona on the way to Jacksonville last weekend, and you can't believe how exactly the same these 2 places are. Even down to numbering the tables. Can't believe they got away w/ it. Our server told us they won the lawsuit and got money from Hooters.
