He isn't. We don't have to reach out to losers.

Even a better question:

How in the world could John Kerry have brought together all of the red state Americans who voted against him in such large numbers?

Why should Bush bring together those who voted for sKerry and those who voted for him? I see no reason for Bush to compromise his platform.

I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here. You just signed on to Free Republic. You posted a vanity which should better have been appended to an article as a reply. In essesnce, you statement is appropo of nothing. You improperly chose America - the Right Way as a topic. Finally, you seem not have stuck around to carry on a discourse with us who have disagreed with your statement.

I smell a troll.

Are you referring to what Bush said in his victory speech? If so, I think you should remember that he did not state that he would bring together the Kerry voters and Bush voters. He did say he is also the President of those who voted for his opponent, he will keep that in mind, and he will try to earn the trust of those who voted against him. That is not the same as saying he plans to unify the two groups of voters.

I think your interpretation of it might be inferred from what he said, but I don't infer it from what he said.

As to how he will earn the trust of the Kerry voters, I think all he was saying there is that he will try to be the best possible President he can be, in winning the War on Terror, improving Homeland Security, strengthening the economy and jobs, improving education, helping faith-based benevolent groups do their works etc., and the results will be a better, safer and stronger America.

Which he HOPES will be noticed even by those who didn't vote for him.

Beyond the "Bush" adm.??

What about beyond the soreass losers? What about beyond the selfish prix that make up the Kerry supposters? What about beyond the George Soreasses, Micheal Moore's, Ben Afflacks, Whoopie Goldbergs, Bruce Springsteens and the rest of the Hollywood elitist.

What about BEYOND the friggin MSM???????

Perhaps he could follow the Kerry model of reaching out to the Vietnamese while his comrades were fighting and dying during the war?

It takes TWO to tango. The Bush admin is reaching out, but dumb Dems are so brainwashed by Michael Moore, they simply can't fathom the possibility that Bush is actually the good guy. I have never in my life seen so many people act so stupid.

Like typing? Or correct grammar use?

Any bets as to whether our new friend here has ever criticized President Bush for being dumb? :-)

Welcome to Free Republic

how is bush going to bring together the the kerry voters and the people who voted for him.

When the democRATs decide they want to participate instead of obstruct (look where that got Dashole) then the Kerry voters will be "brought together" with the majority of the country.

Why should he? Either they're Americans who want to support their country or they're not. If they choose to undermine their country, President Bush can't force them to support him.

The democrats cry that the presdent hasn't been a uniter after he reached out to them and they slapped him for it. They've smeared him, undermined our war effort simply because it was led by him. Enough effort has already been wasted in reaching out to these people.

YES!!!!!! In before the zot!

Newsflash: Bush won. All this nonsense about how the GOP has to reach across the aisle is just that--pure, unadulterated nonsense. We're not the devisive ones, my friend. The true intolerance is all on the left side.

I wonder if this is the same person, time and again?

Surely there cannot be more than one who is so poorly educated?

Oh, and...ZOT!

War presidents will be judged by how goes the war. I wonder how Roosevelt would have fared in 1942, if the dems had launched an attack on his conduct of the war.

Why did we go to war against Germany? They didn't attack us. What's more, they had genuine greviences against France and Britain after WWI.
