Denver Organization Personally Capitulates To Gunny Bob
Newsradio 850 KOA & 630 KHOW ^ | 15 Dec 2004 | Gunny Bob

Posted on 12/15/2004 2:57:04 PM PST by GunnyBob

I got a call this morning from Jim Basey, president of the Downtown Denver Partnership. The DDP decided that talking to me on the air would be insanity. However, Mr. Basey assured me that the pressure placed upon the DDP by my audience was plenty and that in 2005 the Parade of Lights would allow "Merry Christmas" signs on floats and to be carried, and that Christmas carols with Christian words or themes would also be allowed.

It was clear that Mr. Basey was extremely intimidated--I can be a little testy when debating someone with whom I vehemently disagree--by my vigorous approach to this situation, but that's fine with me so long as we accomplished our goal, which was that hate and bigotry be stricken from the parade as an official policy.

I have now turned my sights upon the ACLU itself, so stand by for heavy rolls because the ship will be maneuvering.

Everyone along the Front Range: Gunny Bob now encourages you to head downtown and have a great time! The forces of right have once again prevailed in these dark times.

"Their only power over the truth is people believing their lies.... "

Or people once seeing the lies, allowing them selves to be intimidated into silence.

Well done GunnyBob,

I am able to pick up your program most
nights in the Kingman, Arizona area.

Why don't you tell the Freepers how to listen to you on the Internet?

I am glad that you are after the ACLU, so few people actually know that it is a communist organization.

I appreciate what you've done here, but how far have we come where this is a concession? Kudos :)

I hereby license my new word royalty-free solely to those who use it to destroy the ACLU. Joseph Farah, you especially!

OK folks - Gunny has shown how it's done.

Now let's do it!

We have to STOP being quiet and polite while taking the c*rap from the socialist/commies. there's one tactic of theirs that we have to use

Stand up and Demand! no more capitulation...

I don't know from Denver radio. But if you were in any way even partly responsible for this - THANKS! The radio link goes to ddp. Care to write-up a best practices, post-mortem, or list what worked? This would be a great case study.
