No, but I saw someone here got their problems of SpyBot fixed. And the SpyBot Forums haven't answered my question in a month! I was hoping I'd find a friendly replier!

I do not care much for spybot. Try bullet proof software it is the best product I have used. bulletproofsoft.com

Its pretty simple, just UNCHECK each item on the Ignore Products list that you want Spybot to find and eliminate. Then run and scan and proceed to eliminate what shows up.

Well, they are all unchecked, it shows that it knows it exists, but it does not come up in the delete list. It only shows the Exploit bug that most people get. But there is no option to delete trojans, spyware, or anything of the such.

Under "Settings," go to "Ignore products, Cookies, File extensions, Single entries, and System internals," which may be in tabs.

Then un-check the items you do not want Spybot to ignore anymore.

Try Adaware in addition to Spybot. Also get the beta version of Microsoft's spyware scanner. Both of those are free, as is Spybot. Each uses a different method to search and remove spyware.

Incoming!

Seriously, welcome member #193940.

While I like & use both Ad-Aware and Spybot, I'd suggest you try MSantispyware ( available from the MS site ) and see if it finds more crud.

They are there and unchecked, but I can't seem to see them in any other list, so I can't delete them. Is it because I have Windows XP? Or does that not matter...

Have you terminated and restarted Spybot? If that doesn't work, check for a new detection rules update, there is a new one. Re-click the immunize button.

"Settings > Ignore Products":
"This page lists all products that Spybot-S&D can detect...If you check a product here, it will not be found during a scan."

It's a list of what Spybot can detect. It is not a list of what's on your system.

Here at FR we have a special program called the ZOTsweeper... it gets rid of trolls from our computer. It requires no download at all, and it's very effective. Just wait a few minutes and you'll feel it working... stay right where you are... don't move... here it comes...
ZOT!
