Yeah, I know this is yet another navel-gazing piece of crap trying to pass as serious news/thought from the NY Times, but I thought the title would bring in a lot of attention. ;)

Kinda cool article. I'm fighting the urge to buy a few thousand dollars of drums and sound-proof the spare bedroom in our house. I had the things nearly mastered in the '70's, but now...
We'll see.

Don't mess with us basement guitar playing middle age stars. It is a lot cheaper at $40 an hour a lesson than $100 an hour for therapy, and a lot more fun, for us at least. I just bought a Tascam CDGT1mkII Portable CD Guitar Trainer so that I can slow down the big boys and jam with them. Sure beats shoveling snow!!

It was a new and unwelcome side of a man I thought I'd known pretty well, a man who never shopped, who wore a watch with a cracked plastic band, and who drove an old unlovely car, knocked askew by a deer a decade ago. Then again, some of that obtuseness might have derived from being male in the first place.
This broad is a Twit (capitalized on purpose). A condescending twit IMNSHO.
