More like genetics, but there are a subset of families who have BOTH, and without excess weight, etc.
BTW, suppressing the immune system has it's own problems. I wouldn't call anything that requires such suppression a "cure".
Clearly it is a treatment with real risks.
If it were easy, it would already be cured.
