Golf Outing Allegedly Involves Strippers

Naperville, IL - Police on Wednesday were investigating a golf outing sponsored by a gentleman's club in this Chicago suburb that allegedly featured women strippers in bikinis giving male golfers lap dances.

Residents who live along the Country Lakes Golf Club's course said they were surprised to see scantily clad women dancing and performing on the course. One resident called police to complain and videotaped some of the event from her back window.

"It's not something you'd expect in a family-oriented town like Naperville," said Geoff Pacana, who lives near the 16th hole. "It's certainly not something you'd want any of the kids who live around here to see."

Monday's golf outing was sponsored by Blackjack's Gentleman's Club located near South Elgin.

Naperville Police Chief David Dial said the investigation was focusing on "whether there was a criminal act or whether there was a liquor license violation."

He said anyone who participated in the event was subject to the investigation.

Messages left Wednesday at Country Lakes Golf Club and Blackjack's Gentleman's Club were not immediately returned.

Naperville Police Sgt. Joel Truemper said Wednesday the department was in the process of requesting a subpoena from a grand jury to review video tape from WLS-TV in Chicago.

Janet Hundley, WLS-TV's assistant news director, said the station has a policy of not handing over video tapes to authorities without a subpoena.

As of Wednesday evening, the station had not received a subpoena, she said.

When you're standing around waiting for the foursome ahead of you, it's nice to have something to keep you busy.

"videotaped some of the event from her back window. "

Did she have to stand on a ladder and open the blinds WAY open to video this? Thank God for alert and vigilant neighborhood associations.

One resident called police to complain

All it takes is one person to bring things to a screeching halt in modern America. Blame it on the snail-darter.

Call me jaded, but I have a problem determining why this is a problem.

I'm guessing the Naperville police have any number of more important things on the blotter to occupy their time.

If they were in bikinis, where's the problem?

These cops must not have a crime problem, like burglaries, rapes, murder, drugs and gangs to worry about.

I never cared much for golf, uhmm, wonder how much a set of clubs would cost? /Sarcasm

I grew up very close to Naperville. Honestly, the cops probably don't have much else to do there. Although the town is very large (about 120,000 people) it is very affluent. There is little crime there. The town did get some national attention about 7 yrs ago when a doctor's wife murdered her three young children in their home.

Something tells me that this investigation will soon lead to the local doughnut shop.

They were in bikinis... I thought they mandated collared shirts on the links?

And they better have all had their own set of clubs - NO SHARING!
