Tonight's Episode of Over There, Who Watched It?

Who watched tonight's episode of Over There? It was suprisingly pro-troops, made the media look like agenda driven fools and the insurgents for the blood thirsty savages they are.
TOPICS: TV/Movies
KEYWORDS: bocho; fx; iraq; moviereview; overthere; tv
While the technical aspects of the show are still very subpar, the story tonight was very supportive of the troops. Showed a cold blooded execution by the insurgents and a bias media. I was very surprised.

I thought it was pretty good. Unbelievable that a reporter would try to go deal w/ a terrorist to make thr story right.

I just added it to my TiVo season pass list, but since it comes on at the same time as "Top Gear" on discovery, I won't record it until the 1:00 AM eastern showing.
I've heard great things about the show, but haven't seen it yet.

Apparently, the show is finding it's legs in the last couple of episodes. The ending of tonight's episode was truly heartwrenching, with soldier voicing a heartfelt prayer for his fellow soldier's family.

I've watched the first 4 shows but missed this one, The technical part of this show is completely bogus, but the show does lean towards our troops and it's all about personalities, but I like it. I will watch the replay, Thanks for reminding me, I forgot about it being on tonight

Liberal don't watch it because they hate the military.
We don't watch it because we support the military.

It's a great show. Doesn't seem to have a political agenda (so far) and it does seem very supportive of our troops.

i love the show. it has a complex mix of personalities and great story lines.
pro military? not really, i think when you compare it to the HORRIBLE bias in our media against our military it looks like a Carl Rove writing team is filming it. if you sit back and take it in, it really is just a fair look what is going on there with some rather good acting. honestly, i can't believe it's on. when the left finds out the #$%@ will hit the fan.

I agree, it is a great show. My only complaint is that the women are still with the unit (albeit as a driver and mechanic!)...is that common? It seemed very pro-troops, and showed how the news is managed and manipulated. I felt awful for Smoke. I really like the sarge and the theme song. Getting a glimpse of the amputee's recovery efforts, the families at home....it's quite educational. Not that I believe every situation or story line, it's educational in that it makes me think of the war and the soldiers in a more 3-dimensional way. It's still hard to watch, but worth it!

My niece was in Kuwait until February and went on numerous convoys into Iraq.
