During World War II, Japan was so far away, and there were so few Japanese here. With muslims, it's completely different. Here in California, the are entire neighborhoods of muslims, we work with them, hang out with them, go to school with them, etc. Very different mindset now. No one wants to start carving up their neighbor.
During World War II, the Japanese were put into camps, for fear they'd fight for the enemy. During a conflict on our soil, would the muslims turn on us?
