I think it's s'posed to be even chillier and damper tonight than last night. It is CRAZY to be playing night games--long, late night games--this late into October. It's STUPID as far as the baseball and the in-person fans are concerned. But TV revenue rules the roost.

It was hard to find a Chicago White Sox shirt here in St. Louis, but one store finally got some in. This is the shirt I wore last night, and I'll be wearing it again tonight (my wife did wash in-between, so it's OK):

Last year during the ALCS the productivity of New England workers plummeted. We were staying up well after midnight watching the games and the post game shows. We we're spent.

At the post office where I work (weeknights) they were nice enough to put the game (Fox 25) on the TVs in the lunchroom for all to see (usually it's CNN propaganda) and they even provided us with free snacks!

WOO HOO! Anyone just see Seattle beat the Cowboys? Amazing finish. AFter finally tying Dallas 10-10 with less than a minute left, Seattle intercepts a Bledsoe pass and runs it back to the Dallas 30 with 5 seconds left; Seattle kicks a winning field goal on last play of game. I'm a Cowboys-hater living in Texas and LOVE IT!!
