Attorneys for former Minnesota Viking Daunte Culpepper and current Viking Moe Williams argued in a court hearing today that the sexual activity alleged against the players on a cruise boat last fall did not reach the level of criminal conduct.
The attorneys focused on the specific actions of the players and spent the first half-hour of the hearing in Hennepin County District Court trying to determine a legal definition for a lap dance.

I'll bet the first half hour of court was quite interesting, listening to high-paid lawyers discuss exactly what constitutes a lap dance.
I thought I'd post this story because of the potentially titillating headline. It seems sure to get some responses from the FR crowd.
Opinions or comments - anyone?
what " IS " is
Picture would help.
I never really understood why what they did was considered criminal. Are the alleged to have hired prostitutes (and if so, why would professional athletes ever have to PAY women to sleep with them?)
If it's just lap dancing and sexual touching, doesn't that happen in strip clubs around the country (not in Virginia, mind you, we don't allow that sort of thing, but other places).
I swear, these footballer guys must have the IQs of mud puddles.
Hah! The judge asked for a definition of a lap dance because he didn't know of any applying case law on the question. Now that is rich. Very rich indeed.
FINALLY! A situation in which your expertise is necessary. :)
My sincerest apologies, MplsSteve. The comment was intended for the Lady of Millee.
There's no basis for this suit. That the woman gyrated in front of the guy doesn't mean she can sue him.
Oh, I'm sorry. You mistook me for Heath Ledger.
Call Gopher and Doc in as expert witnesses?
They don't have to, oddly it may be safer. Some tramp can claim they were raped or get pregnant on purpose. I suppose a prostitute could do the same however.
Sheesh. I saw Vikings and thought it was about kitties.
I need a vacation.
Does it pass the Kleenex test?

It was just like we were in a really crowded elevator, except we weren't.

Vince Young took the Wonderlic twice, with a HIGH score of 15/50.
Marcus Vick received an 11/50.
