What a bizarre thing to say. Why is it evil for her not to leave her money to her (adult) children?
There's no law that says the 'children' gets it all. Some kids deserve nothing.
That's silly. Why should adult childen get money they did nothing to earn?
It's not like we all live on farms anymore where our livelihood and our inheritance are the same thing.
Earn your own money.
IMHO it is the responsibility of every parent to die broke.
I have spent the last 10 years convincing my P-I-L to spend their "estate money" on themselves. We have had some great trips together and I assure you, the memories mean more to me than stupid money.
My mom and dad have passed away, so these are the only parents I have.

Having read all the way through this thread to #126 ... and to your modifying your comment ... which actually is a good thing really;
however, when reading the initial post ... it seemed more like a curse from you to them ... ["I hope her children hate her."] Hate comes with many strong and unlovely feelings, anger, rage, bitterness, etc., .
To wish this on anyone's children as the way to remember their Mother is truly hatefulness itself.
