In flipping around the TV dial I see that AirAmerica and the talent-challenged Al Franken are getting free play on CSPAN.
Does anyone recall Rush or a similar Conservative commentator getting similar airtime?
And what's the over/under on AA even being around a year from now?
There appears to be a major liberal media/entertainment/too many people attack on present day America. Let's hope our conservative friends are too busy with life as we know it to pay much attention to it.
they must have donated some Boys and Girls Club funds over to cspan
CSPAN is so biased, the liberals always call in on the republican line... very irritating.
> Does anyone recall Rush or a similar Conservative commentator getting similar airtime?
Not only that, he is preempting the White House Press Briefings, which up until recently, CSPAN was airing.
Is that C-SPAN's fault?
Right--C-SPAN has done occasional talk-radio-weeks where they do a live broadcast of a certain show. Carr and Ingraham have indeed been on. In addition, Howie did a book-signing-speech in Newburyport, MA (THE BROTHERS BULGER) which C-SPAN carried,
and both Ingraham and Frankenfraud have been on Brian "Wolflamb Jack" Lamb's show.
Have been listening to book-on-CD version of Bernie Goldberg's
"100 people Screwing Up America" (transferred to my mp3
player; convenient). "...And Al Franken is #37"; Bernie
relates the painful interview he had with Stuart Smalley.
I did notice Franken as I cruised around the dial--watched a minute or so. He speaks so softly/low-key he puts you to sleep. That alone could be one reason Air America gets a
0.4 rating in liberal Boston.
Maybe their mods should screen the calls a little better.
Republicans never get squat from the MSM - and that includes CSPAN.
Yes.
CSPAN use to take calls as they came in, not now.
When they realized conservatives were outnumbering liberals - probably 50 to 1, they switched to a liberal line and a conservative line. It was so bad at the beginning that the few liberals who called (and always got on) became easily recognizable.
To further dilute the power of conservatives, they added "moderates" to the mix - and that made it 2 to 1 calls that favored liberals. The only time they care about being "fair" is when liberals are at a disadvantage. Lots of conservatives like CSPAN - I'm not one of them...
"I'm a lifelong Republican, but..."
I recall watching C-SPAN play Mike Gallagher's show once...
There's no excuse so lame a liberal won't believe it -- well, if the excuse serves their purpose.
Are they trying to fool us or trying to fool themselves ... I can never tell..
