Graham and DeWine are really close calls. To me, a RINO (or a DINO) is someone who'd be just as content in the other party. I'm not entirely sure Graham or DeWine would be content as Democrats. Chafee and Specter I'm sure would, and McCain would just be doing his same contrived political opportunist "maverick" BS.

To me, a RINO (or a DINO) is someone who'd be just as content in the other party.

That definition has the merit of matching the meaning of the generic words in the dictionary, but lacks merit, because it does not comport with how the terms are used in practice. In practice, they mean congresspersons who stray from the party line materially more than the median of their party do.
