They'll never make me ashamed of Dixie. There aren't enough Yankees on the planet for that.

Not all of us want to make you ashamed. In fact, I'm not sure your problem is as much with Yankees as it is liberals from all over.

Feel free to fly your flag. Just remember that the majority of your countrymen have NO RESPECT for the cause your ancestors fought for.

God bless Lincoln, Grant, Sherman and the Grand Army of the Republic.

That being said, the PC-stuff around the flag is just silly. If some peckerwood astronaut wants to sell the St. Andrew's Cross, its his right.

I'm surprised the Confederate-haters have time to bother with the battleflag. I figured they'd be too busy marching to support the Gitmo prisoners or illegal aliens or one of their other pet projects.

I was born in the North but I respect the Stars and Bars more and more these days. Especially when liberal wankers try to discredit it.

As a Yankee who tried to get his second son named "Joshua Chamberlain [last name redacted]" I say you should be good and proud of your heritage. A few dumb ideas does not overwhelm the great gallantry of Southern troops, or any of the other items on the long list of good things about the South.

Not only aren't there enough Yankees, but many Yankees feel the same way you do, pahdner!

I am pleased that the Confederate Flag was aboard!

I live in Vermont and have the rebel flag prominantly displayed!

But it only takes one or two Yankees in the right place to make me ashamed of my whole country.

Murtha, Kerry, any Kennedy, DeWine, Kucinich, etc.
