Ya'll are missing it. On Hannity's radio show yesterday, the point was made that "this film has already raised awareness about the exploitation of children."

So what if they exploited a child to do it?

It bothers me that they are teaching this child what she's doing is 'art.'

I just don't know why Hollywood feels the need to do these kind of movies. There never seems to be any redeeming value, and the exposure that Dakota Fanning will have to go through as a child star will do nothing to make her a more secure individual.

How utterly sad... and to think the parents would consent to this is beyond the pale.

How many are willing to sell their souls for a shot at fame?

Dakota's a gifted young girl. I just wonder how long before this all comes crashing down, and leaves her as wreckage along the road?
