Deputy Michael Callin, 26, was taken off life support and died at 7:25pm. His family took him off life support after his brain began to swell.
Callin was surrounded by his family Wednesday night when they made the heart-wrenching decision to take him off life support.

I'm so sorry for the death of your friend. I've watched his progress and decline for two days now. As the mother of an Osceola County deputy, my heart really goes out to his mother. May God grant the family and friends peace, strength, and heart ease.
