Who did the Red Sox trade for Hinske?

Not a bad get, but it looks like their pitching staff is worn out. Timlin is getting shelled, and the little I saw of Jason Johnson, the only pitch he could throw for a strike was an 87 mph fastball that didn't have any movement.

On a positive note, the Jimmy Fund radio/TV telethon raised about $3 million. Donald Trump stopped by the radio booth and, informed that they were $60,000 shy of tying last year's 2.4 million, immediately tossed the 60k on the table. Others contributing included former Sox ace Roger Clemens (#21 gave $21,000), Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs, George Steinbrenner, etc.

Kevin Hench: "As for Mike Timlin, hope he enjoyed the World Baseball Classic because he sure must not be having fun in this playoff fade. Since he hit the wall in early July he's been getting battered to the tune of a 7.23 ERA in his last 18 appearances. "

THE END OF AN "ERROR" (E-5):
