Given all the people who wish to legalize pot, why do you specifically point out Soros? Why not former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson? He is a conservative Republican who supports legalizing marijuana.

It would never pass on the ballot, nationwide, as there are still too many people of principle, family values, and traditional responsiblity and decency. I am not going to get into discussions at length, as I have years past, but here's a bit of what legalization will do:

" Longitudinal research on marijuana use among young people below college age indicates those who used marijuana have lower achievement than the non-users, more acceptances of deviant behavior, more delinquent behavior and aggression, greater rebelliousness, poorer relationships with parents, and more associations with delinquent and drug-using friends. Research also shows more anger and more regressive behavior in toddlers whose parents use marijuana than among the toddlers of non-using parents (Michael Farrell, M.D., British Medical Journal) "

" A gateway drug is a drug that is considered to lead the user to experiment with harder more addictive drugs. "There is a fairly long history of research showing that early cannabis (marijuana) use is associated with increased risks for later use of so-called 'hard drugs,' but that research is based on the fact that most heroin and cocaine users report first having used cannabis," says lead author Michael T. Lynskey, Ph.D., a visiting assistant professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and senior research fellow at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research in Brisbane, Australia (Lynskey). "

Robert Shafer was probably one of the most conservative Republicans you could have found. Maybe too conservative.
He promised to objectively pursue the truth of the matter, and then he went and actually did it.

I think Soros is actually just the front man for an international conspiracy run by a secret society of jazz musicians.
