Mrs. F. received this largeish piece of jewelry from a relative for her birthday (that'd be the jewelry there on the left, wisenheimer).
Long story short, the donative relative has no idea what kind of stone or setting this is.

Our first thought was that it's Beeberite.
But no.
To: martin_fierro
it is a polished desert stone (pertrified wood).

If it's beeberite, it's been inadequately stuned. Your local jeweler probably can stune it correctly, with little noticable distortion. Good luck!

Looks like a polished agate in a silver bezel setting.

The stone looks like quartz. It's very beautiful! The setting looks antique to me, I'd have it appraised.

That is a white banded agate. The cut is a cabochaun. Agate is very common so the stone isn't worth anything. However, the setting looks to be handcrafted silver which is where any worth would be. That said, wear it as an everyday piece.

It is a stuning piece in any case.

Wanted to spot-weld these to the back of it, but Mrs. F. wasn't havin' it.

I don't know what kind of stone it is, but you have a very nice hand.

Not familiar with Teh Bling -- is that a west coast jewelry wholesaler?
