However, the above joke is about the anihillation of a race (or races). That is not something to humorously accept.

No, it is about the removal of a murderous cult of worshippers of a pedophile moon worshipper (may he burn in hell forever covered in bacon bits).

There is no "race" implied.

I must correct myself. The joke does say "Arab" (although that is a general and almost-meaningless as "latino").

The joke should be recast with "muslim" in place of "Arab."

Then it would be funny without being overly offensive!

You're right. Race is not implied, it is directly denoted.
