Actually, Aniston has a point. Hollywood makes movies aimed at males, figuring the females will go along to the movie anyway. Thus lots of blow-up-bang movies and ones with lots of special effects get greenlighted, but movies that will draw steadily, such as "The Devil Wears Prada" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," have a harder time getting started. There's a big role for a movie company that will make films which appeal more to older women. Come to think of it, films with a plot and appealing actors and actresses wouldn't hurt, either.
I have worked 8 years at our local movie theater, and thus see what sells and what doesn't. We get more films that will bring the women in and less gangsta crap, I'd be happier.

Because groups of women don't go out to the movies when they can just sit at home and rent that or their favorite TV show on DVD during their slumber parties or male-bashing get-togethers?
