What's really funny about this protest is that, in the show, everybody is upset that "someone" dressed up like Steve Irwin so soon after his death.

Even Satan himself says it's inappropriate for someone to make fun of Irwin's death, and calls the "person" out to protest about his insensitivity for making fun of Irwin.

Then the "person" says "But I'm really Steve Irwin".

Then Satan says "oh, you aren't wearing a costume", and has him thrown out of the party.

I thought it was hilarious and then felt bad that I laughed.

But it really was funny.

I can't wait to see what they're going to do to Michael J Fox.

"Even Satan himself says it's inappropriate for someone to make fun of Irwin's death"

I think that this is exactly what made it funny. At first I cringed when I heard his name, but then the whole joke was really about how people would think this was in bad taste. To me, this was just about the only thing that could make it funny.

The only time I ever thought Matt & Trey may have gone a little overboard was when I first saw "The Passion of the Jew". But they turned out to be 100% right about Mad Mel!

I learned not to underestimate their brilliance after that one.

Ahh, now that is funny. The article doesn't explain it like that. I love south park. As someone else said, they are good at making you laugh and then (sometimes) feeling bad about it afterward... :)
