Oh, how the hot and powerful have turned cold and weak -- at least that's the assessment of Mel Gibson by FilmThreat online.
The site has named Gibson No. 1 among the "least-powerful, least-inspiring, least-intriguing people in all of Tinseltown."
The dishonor comes, of course, because of the anti-Semitic remarks he made during his arrest on suspicion of drunken driving.
The site said "who cares" to his upcoming movie, "Apocalypto."
Also on the Film Threat's "Frigid 50: The Coldest People in Hollywood" is Borat, because the site says there's no future for him, actress Lindsay Lohan and the Internet phenomenon Lonely-girl-15.
And, newlyweds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, who topped last year's list, are No. 10 this year.

Like this website would know?
IMHO, "Apocalypto" looks interesting. At least it's not the same damn Hollywood thing again.
I wonder if this FilmThreat online is a respected member of the Hollywood community.
It seems like any publication that wants some publicity can just publish a list of some sort...
I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the story, our fascination with lists is just interesting.
I agree--dumb name, but the trailer looks intriguing.
Mel has about a billion reasons why he won't be bothered by this poll.
IMO not being liked by Hollywood is a good thing. As long as he makes interesting movies, I'll go see them.
How can that be? |
Hey... how do I get on that list?
Exactly. I seriously doubt he'll be losing any sleep over this.
He's a good actor and a great director, the rest is nonsense. LOL.
And the MSM wonders why they've lost viewers and respect.
Not around my hacienda.
